Tangents & roots

Everything is connected, within the world and my practice. These tangents and roots take form in projects, materials and stories, all of which form parts of my creativity that are all interwoven through ethos and emotion.

Experimentations and playing with recycled paper pulp & plant matter - I have used handmade paper for covers of books, in zines, for mobiles and sculptures. I am drawn to transparency and the pairing of light and paper textures, this lead me to often wax my paper to add to the glow when light shines through.

There is something about having your hands covered in earth//soil//clay that is healing. I feel this is why I keep returning to the act of burying works, as well as playing with and foraging for clays.
